A leading housebuilder has donated luxury raffle prizes to Cullompton Pre-School’s Spring Fair.

Persimmon Homes South West’s Field Sales Manager, Pauline Wadham, and Sales Advisor Keira Ashford were on hand to deliver the garden furniture to Pre-School Leader, Amelia Joyner, ahead of the fair, which took place on Saturday 8th July.

The five-star homebuilder is constructing a development at Mill Gardens in the town and is keen to support local organisations in its mission to build communities, not just houses.

The fete was extremely well attended with families with children currently and previously at the school, as well as those who live nearby.

Despite a rain shower, the “pick your own prize raffle” raised £1,900 – with the garden furniture being the most popular prize to buy tickets for by quite the distance miles, making significant contribution to then £2,800 raised in total.

Commenting, Persimmon Homes South West Sales Director, Stacey Harris said: “We are delighted to have supported Cullompton Pre-School’s spring fair this year with our donation and were pleased to hear that it was a success.

“We have properties for sale at our Mill Gardens development just a mile away which are perfect for families and no doubt they will want to send their children to this very school.

“It is important to us at Persimmon that we support organisations where we are building because we want to create more than just houses, but communities.”

Pre-School Leader Amelia Joyner added: “We are very grateful for Persimmon’s donation which made for a great prize at the fair’s raffle, which certainly received a lot of interest.

“Putting on events like our fair is a great way of engaging parents, children, and the wider community so support from local businesses is essential in making these happen so we can bring people together.
