Police are investigating the theft of two valuable laptops from a Plymouth home on Bank Holiday Monday.

Offenders entered the property in Pentillie Road, Mutley, through a kitchen window sometime between 2pm and 4pm.

They escaped with an Apple MacBook Pro and an Apple MacBook Air, valued at £1,500 each.

Detective Constable Adam Dure, based in Plymouth, said: “One of the computers contained family photographs which are of huge sentimental value to the owner and they would very much like them returned.

“We are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious individuals or vehicles in Pentillie Road on Bank Holiday Monday; many people would have been at home on that day and may be able to provide us with vital information to assist with the investigation.”

Anyone with information can contact police by telephoning 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting crime reference CR/030772/15.
