The Neighbourhood Policing team for North Prospect and Keyham has teamed up with Ford Youth and Community Centre to put on a programme of gym sessions for young people over the summer holiday period.

‘Justice Gym’ project, funded by the Wolseley Trust, offers sessions on Mondays 1-2pm, and Wednesdays and Fridays 3-4pm, free of charge.

The programme is open to both boys and girls aged 14-18 and take place at the Ford Youth and Community Centre Gym, located at Unit 8 in the Wolseley Business Park at Wolseley Close.

Dave Ryland, a Police Community Support Officer based at Beacon Park Police Station said: “We are really looking forward to working with some of the young people within our community this summer.

"The sessions are a great opportunity for anyone between 14-18, of any physical fitness or ability, make some new friends and have some fun.

"We will also be giving out t-shirts and water bottles to those who attend sessions on a regular basis, as incentive to those who want to get involved."
