Ho, ho, ho! Drake Circus, Plymouth is fully let for Christmas

Drake Circus is looking forward to a bright Christmas as it confirms that the region’s leading shopping destination is now fully let in December with quality retailers like Whittards of Chelsea, The Entertainer, Old Guys Rule and Fat Face adding to a great festive shopping experience.

The Plymouth shopping centre, already known for high quality retails brands like Marks & Spencer, Top Shop and Primark has enjoyed significant retail interest in the run up to Christmas.

Greg Lumley, Drake Circus Centre Director said: “Having the Centre fully let is something we have been striving to achieve, not only to ensure we deliver a great customer experience, but also so we contribute to the local economy at a vital time of year. Drake Circus is a powerful driver of the City Centre economy and we need to optimise its potential to provide a strong regional shopping attraction for the business and local community.”

This Christmas there are over 70 retail brands at Drake Circus attracting over 450,000 shoppers a week during peak times. “Christmas looks positive for us - it’s astonishing to think we’re attracting the equivalent figure to the population of Cornwall at the moment,” said Greg. “Experiences and initiatives like Santa’s Grotto and the Drake Circus gift card ensure that the shopping experience is fun, relevant and easy for all the family at Drake Circus.”
