Friendship, Fun and Plenty of Chocolate Biscuits!
Oddfellows Friendship in February
Members of the Oddfellows Friendship Groups in Plymouth, Redruth, and Truro were treated to a fun-filled gatherings this February.
The events included lively beetle drives, full of laughter and friendly competition, all accompanied by delightful spreads of light refreshments.
Members enjoyed teas, coffees, chocolate biscuits, fresh fruit and sweets and additionally in Plymouth a delicious lunch attended by some members who had travelled up from Cornwall.
As always, the gathering provided an opportunity for members to stay informed about the range of support available to them.
A welfare update was shared which highlighted the various member grants for dental and optical care, emergency grants, the members' advice line and access to legal support.
There was also an update on exciting upcoming events such as free chair yoga sessions and lunch groups.
Members participated in lively raffles, with the proceeds going to local charities as well as the free book club, and distribution of free RFID bank card protection pockets and take-away puzzle sheets for members to enjoy at home.
