Drake Circus launches search to find its birthday twin

Drake Circus is launching a competition to find its birthday twin – someone born in Plymouth on the 5th October 2006 – as it prepares to celebrate 15 years since opening its doors for the first time.

The centre is on the hunt for people who were born in the city on Drake Circus’ exact opening date to enter its competition to win a 15th birthday celebration at the centre.

One lucky winner will be crowned the Drake Circus Birthday Twin and given a £100 voucher to spend at Drake Circus or The Barcode, either on a birthday present from their favourite store or a celebration with family and friends at one of the dining or leisure destinations.

Entries can be made by the teenager celebrating their 15th birthday on 5th October, with the written consent of a parent or guardian, or by a family or friend.

Greg Lumley, centre director at Drake Circus, said: “Since opening our doors 15 years ago we’ve always very much seen ourselves as a part of the community, and we remain committed to supporting them.

“As we reach such a landmark anniversary, it felt only right that we celebrate with them in a fun way, and we look forward to finding our birthday twin!”
