Housebuilder Allison Homes South West has donated £500 to Proud2Be in Devon, where it is building homes across the region.

Proud2Be is a grassroots social enterprise that supports all members of the LGBTQ+ community to lead empowered, fulfilled and authentic lives. Set up in 2011, Proud2Be facilitates various groups and events, hosts interactive workshops for organisations and schools, and runs weekly youth groups.

Max Price, Co-founder of Proud2Be, said: “'Thank you so much to all at Allison Homes for the kind donation. As a small, grassroots organisation it really does mean a lot to us – the donation will support the delivery of our community services in Devon.”

Michele Jones, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager at Allison Homes South West, said: “We are very proud to have donated £500 to Proud2Be.

“At Allison Homes, a huge part of our ethos is aiding the communities amongst which we operate in as much as possible, and we are delighted to have offered our support to LGBTQ+ individuals in and around Devon.”
