Concern grows for missing elderly man

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 71-year-old man missing from the Greenbank area of Plymouth.

Edwin Williamson was last seen at the hostel where he resides on Monday, June 23, 2014, but concern is now growing for him after a recent spell in hospital left his health frail.

Mr Williamson is described as a white man, 5ft 5ins tall with long grey hair and an unkempt appearance.

He was last seen wearing a cream shirt, grey trousers and white trainers.

Police believe Mr Williamson frequents and number of pubs in the Mutley Plain area of Plymouth and wouold appeal for any landlords who may have seen him to contact police on 101 quoting log 483 of Wednesday, June 25, 2014.
