Cineworld to recruit up to 82 staff for new Plymouth cinema

Cineworld, one of the UK’s leading cinema chains, is on a major recruitment drive ahead of the opening of its new twelve screen cinema in Plymouth.

The cinema, located in Drake Circus, is set to open its doors in October 2019 and will create up to 82 jobs.

In a bid to fill roles and engage the community, Cineworld is hosting an open day for prospective employees on Saturday 10th August. Candidates interested in learning about career opportunities are encouraged to attend the recruitment session, taking place at the Jurys Inn Plymouth, 50 Exeter Street, Plymouth, PL4 0AZ, between 10am-5pm.

There are a variety of positions available including Cineworld Team Leader, Team Member roles, as well as Barista positions at Starbucks, which will form part of the new cinema. All roles are on either a part or full-time basis. The recruitment day will also offer visitors the opportunity to find out more about careers at Cineworld, as well as ask company staff questions and apply directly.

The new cinema will feature twelve state-of-the-art screens showing the latest Hollywood releases, as well as pick ‘n’ mix and Baskin Robbins ice cream counters.
