
Cars stolen from Plymouth dealership
Detectives are investigating the theft of two new cars worth £27,000 after a Plymouth motor dealership was targeted twice over the weekend.
Offenders damaged a metal barrier to gain entry to Vospers storage yard in Thornbury Road, Estover, in the early hours of Sunday 17 August.
Once inside they broke into a secure box containing car keys before stealing two Peugeot vehicles.
Detectives are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity at the site between 2.45am and 5.20am on Sunday 17 August.
They are also keen to hear from any dealers or individuals who may have been offered the vehicles for sale.
The stolen vehicles are a grey Peugeot 308 Allure, valued £15,000 and carrying the registration number WF14 GEU, and a white Peugeot 2008 Allure, valued at £12,000 and with registration number WF14 GGP.
Officers are also investigating a failed attempt to force open the secure key box between 6pm on 15 August and 7.30am on Saturday 16 August.
