Body found in Tamerton Foliot

Police and Ambulance were called to an address on Ashleigh Close, Tamerton Foliot in Plymouth at around 9.15am today (Tuesday 5th May) following reports of a disturbance at the property.

On arrival police found a female deceased and a male who was injured, in a collapsed state.

He was treated at the scene and has since been taken to Derriford Hospital where he is receiving treatment.

A cordon has been set up at the address whilst police continue their investigations.

Detective Inspector Ian Ringrose said: “We are currently undertaking house to house investigations to see if anyone noticed or heard anything suspicious. Currently we are not seeking anyone in connection with this incident; however we are keeping an open mind.”
