Biography of Devon's Natural Mr Universe Ed Akay becomes a bestseller

Ed Akay, a Natural Mr Universe Gold Medallist and 3-time UK Para Bodybuilding Champion recently released his biography “From Darkness” penned by Photographer Jason Reading and set to a backdrop of his photography.

The book has quickly become a Bestseller on Amazon making the number 1 spot in both the Portrait and Portrait Photography categories as well as number 12 in Exercise and fitness.

From Darkness tells the story of how at just three years old, Ed was struck by Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), a rare neurological condition that left him paralysed. Despite this he was pushed by his family to fight back eventually standing proudly as an entrepreneur, 60 plus front cover model and decorated International Natural Bodybuilding Champion inspiring others by uniquely competing as a regular and para-athlete. The book also features a contribution from  Inflammatory Neuropathies UK, the only UK charity which is completely dedicated to providing information and support to people impacted by Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS).
