Appeal for witnesses following Tideford RTC

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the A38 at Tideford.

The collision took place at around 10.25am this morning, Wednesday, 12 February 2014 and involved a Jaguar car and an HGV.

The Jaguar was travelling eastbound towards Plymouth, whilst the HGV was travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Jaguar – a man in his 60s – was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries.

At the time of the collision, the weather was poor and there was reduced visibility due to strong winds and rain.

Officers are seeking information from witnesses, particularly those who may have seen the Jaguar before the collision.
