Appeal for witnesses to domestic incident

Police are appealing for witnesses to a domestic incident in Plymouth city centre on Wednesday 5 March.

At around midday, a man in his early 20s approached a woman with a young child and started shouting at her.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident in New George Street.

A 21-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of a causing harassment, alarm and distress and released on police bail until 8 April 2014.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting crime reference EC/14/2194, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
