Appeal after daytime burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses to a daytime burglary in Plympton St Maurice in which valuable jewellery was taken.

Offenders forced the patio doors to get inside the property in Longcause sometime between 10.30am and 2pm on Tuesday 13 September.

They escaped with around £1,800 worth of jewellery plus a small amount of cash and tobacco.

Among the stolen items were a valuable gold charm bracelet holding numerous charms, a gold locket, two gold wedding rings, two gold necklaces and a gold ring set with an onyx stone.

Police investigating the burglary are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity or individuals in the Longcause area at the time of the offence to contact them.

They would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered any of the items of jewellery for sale.
