
Appeal after assault on Plympton schoolboy
Witnesses are sought by police to an unprovoked assault on a 14-year-old schoolboy in Plympton last week.
The Plympton boy was walking home along Triumphal Crescent after seeing a friend when the incident happened at around 7.30pm on Wednesday [24 January].
The victim had his head down and was looking at his mobile phone when he was approached by a male and hit in the face. He received a cut to his forehead. He then ran home to his parents fearing a further assault.
The offender was dressed all in black and had his face partially covered.
Police are appealing for witnesses to this offence and asking for anyone who heard or saw anything to contact them.
