Days by the sea are about to get better with the reintroduction of Stagecoach’s Golden Hop open tops featuring the friendly bus hoppers! After much anticipation the route in Torbay will be back from 1st August, connecting Babbacombe, St Marychurch, Torquay Harbour, Paignton and Paignton Zoo, 7 days a week.

The route encompasses many of the area’s most popular hotels and attractions including Babbacombe’s Theatre, Cliff Railway, Model Village and Paignton Zoo. Views from the top deck are stunning and feature some of the bay’s most picture perfect scenery.

Mike Watson, Managing Director for Stagecoach South West said “I’m absolutely delighted to be re-introducing the 122 open top service to the Bay. Our friendly hoppers will bring some much needed happiness to both residents and tourists alike.

The Safety of our customers and employees remains our top priority, with extensive measures in place our buses are clean, safe and ready to go. We can’t wait to welcome you back on board very soon."

With great value day tickets you can hop on and off the Golden Hop as often as you like! A day of unlimited travel across Torbay and as far as Dartmouth, Totnes, Newton Abbot and Dawlish Warren costs just £5 for an adult and £3.50 for a child. Those travelling in a group can benefit from a group dayrider allowing 5 people to travel for just £10!
