Colleagues from The Co-operative Pharmacy in Ham Green, Plymouth, were calling for local voices to be heard loud and clear as they took to the streets with a giant megaphone on Thursday (20 February) to encourage local people to help shape the future of the business.

The team posed with the super-sized device to mark the launch of The Co-operative’s pioneering “Have Your Say” campaign, the biggest piece of research and engagement in The Co-operative’s history.

Tomasz Woziwodzki, branch manager and pharmacist, said: “The Co-operative is a community-based retailer, which means it is really important to be in touch with what our customers, and the wider public think, not just about us, but also about the communities we share.

“It is our willingness and ability to listen that is at the heart of what makes us different, and today I want to make sure that people in my local area know how they can have their say on topical issues, the way we operate, and our future.”

The Co-operative has teamed up with YouGov to carry out the research, and the findings from the poll will feed directly into a review of the strategy and purpose of the business, which is being carried out by Chief Executive, Euan Sutherland.

Everyone over the age of 16 is invited to have their say at www.haveyoursay.coop
