Jason Banton signs a deal with the Pilgrims
The 20-year-old Crystal Palace winger will arrive at Home Park on Friday and is likely to go straight into manager John Sheridan's squad for Saturday's game with Dagenham & Redbridge.
Jason will be available up to, and including, our npower League 2 clash with Barnet on Saturday, March 2. He will wear the number 19 shirt.
Having began his career as a schoolboy with Tottenham Hotspur, London-born Jason had spells with both Arsenal and Blackburn Rovers as a youngster before signing professional terms with Liverpool in January 2011.
A month on loan at Burton Albion followed before a spell in the United States, training with MLS club the Seattle Sounders.
In October 2012, after an impressive performance in an under-21 match against Palace, he signed at Selhurst Park, making his debut as a substitute in the Eagles' 0-0 FA Cup third round tie with Stoke City earlier this month.
The promising youngster has also gained international honours and is the proud owner of four England under-17 caps.
