If you're aged between 14 and 25 and looking for a new way to get active, check out Plymouth City Council's latest Sportivate programme.

Organised by the Council’s sports development unit and funded through Sport England, the programme gives young people six weeks of high quality sports coaching for just £6 – that’s an amazing £1 per week.

There are 13 exciting activities to choose from, ranging from winter sports like skiing and snowboarding and water sports including kayaking, canoeing and sailing to more traditional sports such as tennis, boxing and running.

The next programme starts in February and sessions will be running at a number of venues across the city. Good attendance is rewarded with sports vouchers or equipment to help people continue with the sport of their choice.

For full details about the programme and activities on offer visit www.plymouth.gov.uk/sportivate

Places are limited and must be pre-booked by call the sports development unit on 01752 307008. Bookings will be taken from 9.30am on Monday 28 January.
