Scandal and Romance at Saltram a sold-out success
Following the success of the premier of ‘Scandal & Romance’ at Saltram last month, volunteers and staff are excited about the next performances on 6 June and 11 July, at 6.30pm and 7.15pm.
The National Trust House near Plymouth will create two more evenings of entertainment delving into past history of Saltram.
The performances tell the story of the Parker family’s shocking scandals and romantic alliances; and the cast of over thirty, which includes local school children, staff, volunteers and friends, intrigue and astound the audience as the story unfurls.
One participant, Mrs Gerrard, said: “We sincerely cannot praise the evening enough on all levels, it was a truly great night, totally faultless and thoroughly enjoyable, well put together and presented on all levels.” Another said “a magical evening, one I will never forget.”
For those who missed the first performance, there is still the opportunity to grab a ticket. They cost £12 per person includes a glass of wine and nibbles booking is essential on 01752 333500 or at the welcome centre.
