Cornwall's Pentillie Castle is to host a one-off performance from the inimitable Mad Dog Mcrea performing on a pontoon floating in the middle of the River Tamar.

Mad Dog Mcrea will play on Weir Quay Boatyard's pontoon on the Tamar, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The audience will be able to watch the amazing spectacle from the estate's beautiful riverside fields.

The performance has come about after Mad Dog Mcrea performed for Weir Quay Boatyard on their new pontoon in April, then decided to sail on up the river to do a performance for Pentillie see clip here. Everyone loved it so much, they decided to do it again this time based at Pentillie, and invite the public along.

Sammie Coryton, MD of Pentillie Castle says: "It was an amazing experience, watching Mad Dog perform on the river - a true, ever so slightly eccentric, Pentillie moment. The tide is right next again Sunday and we hope everyone will come along for what promises to be a truly unforgettable experience."
