Meet an eagle at Mount Edgcumbe Christmas Fayre

A low-flying Santa won’t be the only thing you need to watch for at Mount Edgcumbe’s Christmas Fayre this year.

If you head to the Barrow Centre on Saturday 7 or Sunday 8 December you will be able to meet Khulan, a magnificent Mongolian Steppe Eagle.

Khulan is the latest and largest recruit at Westcountry Falconry, which offers fantastic flying displays and handling sessions with beautiful birds of prey including hawks, falcons, owls and kites.

Owner and professional falconer David Buncle will be accompanying Khulan and providing information about Westcountry Falconry’s experience and taster session vouchers, which make a great gift idea for nature lovers.
