The Mavericks bring Tex-Mex country and rock 'n' roll to Plymouth Pavilions

Grammy award winning band, The Mavericks are back to tour the UK this summer and heading to Plymouth Pavilions on Thursday 25 July 2013.

The post-punk band with deep retro-fittings who emerged from Miami’s indie scene over 20 years ago, created a sound of neo-traditional country music which has been described as having innocence, intensity, and vintage influences all in equal measure. With Cuban American lead singer Raul Malo at the helm, the country-steeped garage band have played sold out shows in the UK including London’s Royal Albert Hall, and extensive tours of Japan, South America, Europe, the USA, and Canada.

The Mavericks latest album ‘In Time’ was released earlier this year and notches up their eleventh release.

Come and witness the unique Tex-Mex sound which fuses traditional country music with rock & roll this summer in Plymouth!
