Dogs Trust Ilfracombe hosts fun day

Dogs Trust Ilfracombe is inviting local dog lovers and their four-legged-friends to join them for their annual Fun Day on Sunday 17th July from 11am-4pm.

Taking place at Mullcott Equestrian Centre at Mullacott Cross, the event promises plenty of fun and games for everyone with the ever popular fun dog show top of the bill. Dogs of all shapes and sizes will have the chance to compete in a number of categories including ‘best in show”, ‘prettiest pooch’ and ‘golden oldie’.

Other highlights include have-a-go agility, a doggy dash, a bouncy castle and trampolines. There will also be a variety of Dogs Trust merchandise available to buy on the day, and guests will be able to enjoy a delicious BBQ.

“We are delighted to be hosting another annual fun day, it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet local dog lovers and raise pounds for the hounds in our care. There are all sorts of fun activities planned throughout the day so please come along and support Dogs Trust Ilfracombe, we can promise you a really fun day out for all the family!”

“We are very much in need of donations for our grand raffle as well as bottles of wine, gift sets and prizes for our doggy tombola. If you have any items you would like to donate, please feel free to drop by the rehoming centre, all donations will be gratefully received.”

The event is taking place at Mullcott Equestrian Centre, Ilfracombe, EX34 8NA.Gates will open at 11am until 4pm. Entry to the event is £1 per adult, 50p for children and OAP’s, and parking is free.
