The annual Lord Mayor’s Day is changing to Lord Mayor’s Festival event this year.

It will welcome the new Lord Mayor into their role and will give the opportunity for the people of Plymouth to celebrate this occasion.  Sponsored by Rowes Honda & Rowes Suzuki.

This year’s theme will be ‘Super Heroes’, so come along and take part in the Super Hero under 5's and over 5's fancy dress competition (sponsored by Whoopee) and Super Hero Trail, in which participants will need to go around local retailers, solve a puzzle and collect a clue which will form a code that opens a box to submit your entry form (sponsored by The Entertainer).

The city centre will be filled with action packed activities for children of all ages, community stalls (on New George Street and Cornwall Street), a food and craft area (on Armada Way) and a full stage programme of street entertainment, including performances from the amazing Titan the Robot.

Plymouth City Centre on Saturday 28 May will be the place for caped crusaders and Captain Americas and Spidermen and women.
