The Reel Rock Film Tour, one of the world’s fastest growing adventure film festivals, is ready to once again thrill audiences this autumn with five films and more than 15
screenings across the UK and Ireland.

For the past decade, the REEL ROCK Film Tour has defined the standard for adventure films, providing audiences with an annual offering of stunning big screen action, compelling
stories and some of the most remarkable alpine and climbing accomplishments of our time.

In its landmark 10th year, REEL ROCK 10 is set to raise the bar once again, as it kicks off its worldwide tour to over 450 locations across all seven continents.

REEL ROCK 10 includes exclusive premieres of short adventure films that tell the stories and struggles of the most exciting vertical achievements from the past year, including an
exclusive look at the history-making Dawn Wall free ascent and an epic traverse across the jagged peaks of Patagonia.

This year, audiences will share in moments of hilarity, struggle and triumph as these hardcore and often larger-than-life climbers take on awe-inspiring challenges. From big walls
to big moves, crowds around the world will be treated to a heart thumping programme that will take them to the edge, and beyond. Here’s a closer look at a selection of this year’s lineup:

A LINE ACROSS the SKY
35 mins

The Fitz Roy traverse is one of the most sought after achievements in modern alpinism;
a gnarly journey across seven jagged summits and 13,000 vertical feet of climbing. Who
knew it could be so much fun? Join Tommy Caldwell and Alex Honnold on the inspiring -
- and at times hilarious -- quest that earned them the prestigious Piolet d’Or award.

DAWN WALL: FIRST LOOK
15 mins
Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson’s epic final push to free climb the Dawn Wall was a
truly historic feat. It marked the greatest climbing achievement of a generation and
captured the world’s imagination. As the Reel Rock team work to create a major feature film
documenting the event slated for next year, REEL ROCK 10 will include an exclusive first
look at the drama playing out at the crux of the route.

The Reel Rock Film Tour offers audiences so much more than just a film night (albeit with the best new adventure films around!). The screenings are inspiring events where outdoors
lovers and climbers alike come together to celebrate adventure and leave with new enthusiasm and inspiration for their next adventure. Audiences also have a chance to win
some fantastic prizes provided by the Tour’s sponsors.

The Reel Rock Film Tour welcomes and encourages the involvement of Mountain Rescue teams, climbing gyms/clubs and other organisations local to each event, which fosters a
strong festive feeling and sense of community participation.

2015 is the fourth year Reel Rock has toured the UK and Ireland.

The tour will bein Plymouth at Peninsula Arts on 28 October.
