Young musicians will be staging a concert at the Plymouth Guildhall on Wednesday 30 April to help raise money for the Lord Mayor’s chosen charities.

Plymouth's Youth Music Service (PYMS) has organised the event, which will include performances from the PYMS Concert Band, HMS Drake Volunteer Band, the Military Kids Choir, Devonport Community Choir, Plymouth Youth Steel and The Co-operative Big Band.

Tickets are priced at £6 each and are available from the Civic Centre First Stop. They can also be bought on the door on the night.

All proceeds will go to the Plymouth Drake Foundation and the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, the two charities supported by Lord Mayor Councillor Vivien Pengelly.

The Lord Mayor’s Charity Concert will start at 7pm and is expected to finish at around 9pm.
