Blundell's School announces GCSE results

We are delighted with the GCSE results achieved by our pupils in the first set of formal public exams since 2019.

It has been a challenging period for these pupils, and they have shown considerable resolve and determination to overcome the disruptions and uncertainties of the past two years.

22% of grades were a 9 and a fantastic 58% of all grades were at 7, 8 or 9.

27 pupils (a quarter of the year group) averaged a grade 8 or higher, with 2 (Freya Gillard and Amelia Mitchell) achieving an outstanding clean sweep of 9’s.

When school reopens in September Blundell’s will see record numbers of new pupils joining the Sixth Form with 34 pupils joining the 72 who are continuing from Year 11.
