St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth are calling on local men to sign up for their brand new event, Men’s Day Out on Saturday 1 February 2014 at Plymouth Albion RFU.

The event promises to be a fantastic day out raising money for the local charity on an eight mile sponsored walk across Plymouth City Centre and the South West Coastal Path. Afterwards fundraisers will be treated as VIPs at Plymouth Albion’s hospitality area for a pint, curry and finishing off the day with a fantastic game of rugby as the mighty Albion take on London Welsh.

The event was created as a result of supporter feedback as Event’s Fundraiser at St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth.

Emma Winter explains: “For the last seven years, ladies have had their chance to raise money and remember loved ones at our Midnight Walk, but over the years our male supporters have always said how they would like to support us with their own ‘men only’ event. We hope we have created the perfect day out which combines a great fundraising activity with a game of rugby.

"Men’s Day Out, I’m sure will be a great social activity offering the chance for friends to get together and perfect to spend some quality father/son time together”.

Men’s Day Out is supported by Plymouth Albion Rugby Club and sponsored by Independent Utilities.

Registration is only £15 per person and with tickets limited, early registration is advised.
