Local Lady spreads Christmas Cheer with 5K Santa Space Hop!

Lots of people are undertaking sponsored Santa Runs and charity fundraising activities this Christmas, but one resident of Appledore, is going the extra mile to ensure the 'fun' is definitely present in her fundraising. 

At 11am on Saturday 19 December, Humanimal Trust supporter Tracy Nicholson plans to complete a 5km distance dressed as Santa on her space hopper, to raise awareness and funds for the charity, which drives collaboration between human and veterinary medicine where similarities exist between humans and other species.

For those unable to cheer her on throughout her route circling the village, her journey will be available to watch via live-stream on Facebook through her event page ‘Santa Space Hop for the Humanimal Trust’ (http://bit.ly/3nvq6ub) to ensure as many people can watch as possible.
