Lifeworks Learning Disability announce exciting fundraising partnership with Luscombe Maye Totnes

Lifeworks Leaning Disability Charity are delighted to announce that Luscombe Maye Totnes Estate Agents have chosen Lifeworks to be their charity of the year. Luscombe Maye has deep-rooted connections throughout the wider areas of Devon, Dorset and Cornwall and have always prided themselves in supporting good causes in the regions that they represent and operate in. Their Totnes office is at the heart of our community, and their well-established heritage and passion in supporting local charities means that that they bring a wealth of proven experience and initiatives in fundraising to help promote Lifeworks’ provisions and services, including our Specialist Further Education CollegeResidential and short breaks and Youth Groups.

Matthew Jenvey, Associate at Luscombe Maye said; “We are thrilled to be able to support this special local charity that is offering Devon children and young people with learning disabilities, as well as their families, such an important and vital service. To have the opportunity to visit the Lifeworks’ College was very special and so heart-warming to see at first hand the amazing work being done and the vibrancy and joy on the students’ faces”. During their visit both Mathew Jenvey and Luc Horwood, Senior Sales Negotiator at Luscombe Maye, were given a warm welcome by the students, who all took time to talk about what Lifeworks means to them and even took charge of conducting the tour of the classrooms, art facilities, kitchens and common room.

Karen Dorow, Head of Lifeworks FE College added; “We are so excited to have the support of Luscombe Maye, and it was great to see and hear their enthusiasm and to know that they already have put in place fundraising activities, with an up and coming event to be held at the Cott Inn Totnes to raise money and the sale of our students’ Christmas cards”. Luc Horwood, mentioned that they already had a list of activities for next year with the Totnes Boat race on the agenda as well as being able to include information on Lifeworks within their marketing and sales pack.

Lifeworks CEO, Laura Fraser-Crewes said; “To receive this news, just before Christmas that Luscombe Maye Totnes Estate Agents have chosen to support Lifeworks is just fantastic. We have a number of ambitious plans to grow and evolve over the coming years and to have the support and calibre of partnership with Luscombe Maye means that we will be able to continue to help, support and meet the needs of people with learning disabilities in Devon have great life”.
