The Range have organised for a charity football match in aid of St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth which will take place this Sunday (18 May).

Two teams have been made, one with employees from our Plymouth based Head Office and the other made from employees from our Devon and Cornwall stores (Exeter, Plymouth and Truro).

All money raised will be going to St Luke’s Hospice, a charity chosen by the teams and an excellent cause.

St Luke’s Hospice have been caring for thousands of terminally ill patients for 24 hours a day, seven days a week for over 30 years and their passion and dedication to offer dignity and choice has never dwindled. Their vision is a community, where no person has to die alone, in pain or in distress.

The match will be held at Optimus Park, Ernesettle, Plymouth, PL5 2EY. Kick off at 6.30pm.

To raise as much money as possible for this great cause there will be a minimal entrance charge for all attending and playing. Entry to the game is £1, please come along and show your support for St Luke’s and the guys taking part in the match.

A prize raffle will take place after the match. Everyone in attendance on the day will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets to be in with a chance of winning one of our fantastic prizes, many kindly donated from local companies including: VIP Tickets from Plymouth Speedway, tickets from Eden Project & Theatre Royal Plymouth, gift vouchers from Deltaforce Paintball, Plymouth Pavillions and The Range, a giftcard from Rockets & Rascals Bike Emporium & Coffee Shop, training classes from Total Fitness & Health, toboggan run passes from the John Nike Ski Centre and tasty treats from Burts Crisps, Portlebay Popcorn, Mars, Haribo & Wrigleys plus many more.
