A fantastic opportunity has come up to join the award-winning Communications Team at Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust.

We are looking for an apprentice to work with and support us in a role that will be wide-ranging and will offer interesting opportunities, from providing administrative support to learning how to use a variety of communication channels to promoting the care patients receive in our Trust.

We’re looking for someone really special; someone who will make the most of this amazing opportunity to help us to communicate the many miracles that happen at the Trust every day and to support us with communicating with the thousands of staff who make those miracles possible.

Brydie Bruce, Communications Manager, said: “This is the first time we have been able to offer up a position such as this. For the right person it will be a brilliant opportunity to gain lots of experience and learn new skills in a role where they will be able to make a difference.”

You need to have GCSE maths and English grade C or above, have a real interest in communications, be confident with Microsoft packages and social media, have a creative mind and capable of taking photographs.

You will also need to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, be able to work as part of a team and be able to work effectively under pressure.
