Plymouth’s Premier Hair Salon Celebrates a Decade of Excellence

Plymouth city centre has seen a lot of dramatic changes over the past few years causing numerous fledgling businesses to rise and fall. David & David Hair Salon in Plymouth’s city centre has ridden the wave of economic uncertainty for a decade and this year is proud to be celebrating its ten-year anniversary, making it one of the longest-standing and most successful hair salons in the city.
David & David Hair Salon is owned and run by creative directors Jonathan Fulton and Simon Friend, who started the salon in 2007. The pair met whilst working together as stylists and decided to channel their passion for creative hair design by opening a salon which nurtured a ‘catwalk-to -curb’ philosophy, something which was missing in the city’s hair industry.

Ten years later and David & David remains a cut above the rest with a dedicated 15-strong team of staff and a loyal customer base of happy (stylish!) clients. The salon is conveniently located in the heart of the city to offer discerning clients the ultimate modern hair salon experience just two minutes from Drake’s Circus shopping centre. Jonathan and Simon are renowned throughout the Westcountry for their outstanding technical knowledge and creative abilities gained over a combined forty years’ experience. Perhaps this is why clients travel from all over the Westcountry to experience David & David’s unequalled hair styling expertise.

To celebrate ten years of success in business, the team at David & David will be holding a big anniversary party at The Seco Lounge in the Royal William Yard on Saturday 22nd July.
