Plymouth-based Honest Coffees has moved to larger premises to accommodate its growing business and showcase a range of machines for coffee lovers at home, work and in hospitality.

The new office and showroom on Ker Street has space for the artisan coffee expert’s six members of staff plus the South West’s first Jura coffee machine showroom. There’s also enough room left for the company to expand its team in the future and provide hot desks for other small businesses.

Honest Coffees was founded in 2012 with a mission to create and supply top quality, ethically-produced coffee. Today it sells more than one million cups of Fairtrade coffee a year and has expanded its business to offer top rate commercial coffee machines to individuals, offices and hospitality clients all over the UK. It is the South West’s fastest growing coffee machine supplier and in 2017 was German coffee giant WMF’s top distributor.

As well as machines, Honest Coffees offers clients a complete coffee solution from service and maintenance to add-ons like coffee grinders, cleaning products and drink supplies - all sourced to be the best match for each customers’ machine.

Honest Coffees Marketing Manager Tim Morris said: “Opening a stand alone office and showroom is an important step for our business. We sell and rent up to 300 machines a year as well as supplying hospitality businesses with more than a million cups of Fairtrade, speciality coffees. So it is important for us to be able to showcase our range.

“We already offer clients excellent after sales service to ensure their machines are performing and they have the right package to serve their customers’ and staff a great cup of coffee. Our new showroom gives us the space to demonstrate our range of bean to cup, espresso, filter and self-service machines so that clients can choose the right set up for them.”

He added: “We are also pleased to be offering space to other Plymouth-based small businesses looking for permanent or flexible working arrangements.”

Honest Coffees have moved from Devonport Guildhall to 223 Ker Street, Devonport, Plymouth. Its showroom is open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
