South-West based energy consultancy IU Energy are celebrating after being shortlisted for two prestigious national awards.

The company has been named alongside other leading consultancies from across the UK for two TELCA Awards - industry authority Energy Live News’ annual celebration of excellence in energy consultancy.

IU Energy has made the shortlist for ‘Consultancy of the Year’ where finalists were selected for “quality of customer service, growth, innovation, knowledge and trust.” The second shortlisting is in the ‘Energy Management Champion’ category for organisations who “live and breathe energy management, help clients and staff to save energy and show return on investment argument for making changes.”

The judging panel comprised senior energy experts from both public and private sectors and industry bodies including Imerys, Sainsburys, Starbucks, The Energy Institute and Tesco.

The past 12 months has seen IU Energy grow in size as well as in the number of new services it now offers through its mechanical and engineering division.

Duncan Banks CEO at IU Energy said: ”The shortlistings recognise a year of significant growth for the company. We are delighted to see our progress, together with commitment to client service and clear business cases for investment, ranked amongst the best in the country.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 28 June at the Honourable Artillery Company in London.
