Santander mum supports Glen Park Primary with fundraising

Staff from Santander Plymouth Branch, led by Sarah Richardson, ran stalls at Glen Park Primary’s Summer fair, raising an amazing £1,710 to help purchase new equipment which will benefit the children who attend the school. 

This amount was then matched by the Santander Foundation taking the total to £3,420.

Louise Cutler, Chair of Friends said: "We cannot thank Santander enough for match funding the amount they raised at our summer fair.  The Friends of Glen Park work hard to raise money for the school throughout the year and the money raised will help us buy even more equipment for the school."

Sarah Richardson, Customer Service Adviser, Santander said: "I was thrilled to support Glen Park Primary.  My children attended the school and I am really pleased that the amount raised will help even more children in the future."

The Santander Foundation in the UK helps most needy through social welfare programmes. It has contributed more than £28 Million since its creation in 1990 to charity organisations in the UK.
