Police appeal after attempted robbery in Plymstock

Police are appealing for any witnesses following an attempt Robbery in the Dean Cross Road area of Plymstock on Monday 18 September 2017.

The incident happened between 11.15pm and 11.25pm. The victim, a male in his 30s, was sat on the benches alongside the park eating a snack. He was approached by a young man who was aged between 19-years-old to 20-years-old.

The offender then tried to snatch the victim’s mobile phone from behind him. After a brief struggle, the offender ran off across the park towards Pomphlett empty handed.

The suspect is described as white and was wearing a white hoody and dark jeans.
