Police appeal after assault in Plymouth pub

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Plymouth.

The incident happened at The Two Trees Public House, Union Street at around 2:40am on Sunday 1 October 2017.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was in the outdoor smoking area when he was punched to the head a number of times by a male offender.

A second male offender then assaulted the victim at a parking area to the rear of the pub a few minutes later, punching and kicking him.

The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for a fractured jaw and cuts to his head.

Police believe there were a number of witnesses present and would like to speak to anyone who may have information that can help with enquiries.
