Staff at the Plymouth office of top 40 accountants Bishop Fleming have raised £2,880 for charity.

The impressive total for the office's fundraising efforts stemmed from a local entertainment charity quiz held in the city on 23 February for Tommy's, a charity supporting research into pregnancy problems and providing pregnancy health information to parents.

Bishop Fleming's Tax Director, Jon Sparkes, was the quiz master on the night, with quiz rounds on TV, music and film. Over 100 people took part, split into 25 teams.

The sum of £2,880 was raised from entry fees and a prize raffle, prizes for which were donated by Westward Building Services, Arena Hair, Theatre Royal, Plymouth Argyle and Plymouth Raiders.

Jon Sparkes said: "We are all very familiar with the amazing work that Tommy's does for babies and their parents. Our team took great delight in raising the money to help that work".
