Man injured in A38 crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the A38 between the Weston Mill junction and the Manadon junction on Wednesday 9 August.

Police and ambulance were called at around 10.15pm following reports that a motorcyclist was lying on the carriageway after a possible collision with a van.

As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, sustained possible life-changing leg injuries and was conveyed by land ambulance to Derriford Hospital.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Crownhill would like to identify any witnesses, particularly a white tanker and blue box van who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
