Jewellery stolen in Plymouth burglary

Police in Plymouth are appealing for information following a burglary.

A burglary took place at a property on Mutley Road, Mannamead, Plymouth, between 1pm and 2pm on Monday 7 November 2016.

The property has been entered through a rear window and the offender/s have taken a large amount of jewellery.

The various items of jewellery include:

An antique heavy gold watch chain with orb pendant

A silver and diamond fern shaped broach in a black box marked ‘Neil Watson’

2 solitaire style pendants on gold chains

Gold snowflake pendant and chain

Stone pendant depicting a ‘sea’ scene

Oval moonstone pendant and silver chain

Silver coloured watch with a small round face and bangle style strap

Solid silver bangle with a gold motif on

Gold antique fob watch and chain

DC Rebecca Whatmore of Plymouth CID said: “All of the items stolen in this burglary are of great sentimental value and anyone who may be approached to purchase such items or has any information about this burglary is encouraged to make contact with the Police.

“We would also advise people to keep their homes secure as the winter nights draw in.”
