Police are investigating after cash and jewellery were stolen from a home in Plympton.

Offenders forced open the back patio door to get inside the property in Woodford Avenue between 2.55pm and 4.45pm on Monday 21 November.

Once inside they made an untidy search of the home before stealing a quantity of cash, a Pandora bracelet containing various charms including a unicorn and angel wings, plus four gold rings.

One ring contains a band of four lilac stones, another contains a band of three rubies while a gold engagement ring carries a large opal with six to seven stones around; one stone is missing.

Around £400 damage was also caused to the back door.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the street at the time of the offence to contact them.

They are also keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered any of the jewellery for sale.

Please contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or by telephone on 101, quoting CR/82569/16.

Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers via 0800 555111 or the charity’s website at www.crimestoppers-org.uk
