Transat Yacht race returns to Plymouth

The World famous Transat yacht race will return to Plymouth after a successful bid to host the start of the race.

People will be able to see the yachts in Plymouth from 24 April up until the solo sailors start their 2,800 mile race across the North Atlantic on 2 May.

This event will bring a brand new Ocean City Rhythm, Blues & Jazz Festival, as well as an air show and fireworks display, will take place on Plymouth’s waterfront during this time.
