Support needed for astro pitch planning application

Plympton residents are being urged by a local school to support their planning application for a 3G football pitch.

Ridgeway School on Moorland Road has submitted its planning proposal for the state of the art astro pitch. There now follows a period where the general public can comment on the application.

At a recent public consultation there was a very positive response to the football pitch being so centrally located within the community.

“Now that the planning application is in we would really like to show the local council that we have overwhelming support from people living in Plympton,” said Principal Lisa Boorman.

It’s understood the final decision will be made in April and all being well building works will start over the summer holidays ready for term time in September.
