Today iotec, the intent marketing specialist, further expands with a new office at Plymouth Science Park. As one of the first tenants to sign up to Plymouth Science Park’s new multi-million pound development, iotec will take over the top floor of One Research Way and be among a whole host of other innovative businesses, including green-tech energy company WITT, award winning e-learning company Sponge UK, satellite remote sensing firm Argans and many others within the Park.

With offices in London and Plymouth, iotec is a high growth technology company that specialises in buying online advertising space on behalf of its clients, using machine learning to automate and optimise the process. The company tracks and analyses customer intent at every touchpoint, enabling brands to understand and react in real-time with their customers.

Since its initial launch in 2013, iotec has shown considerable growth and is estimated to double in size by the end of the year - and with this move to the Plymouth Science Park it further demonstrates its continued support of the region’s growing technology sector with immediate benefits to local growth and employment in the Plymouth / Devon region.

"We are extremely excited to be opening our doors here at Plymouth Science Park,” says CEO Paul Wright. “We’re amongst some of today’s most innovative and ambitious companies who are committed to being leaders in their respective fields. It’s such an honour to be working in close proximity to other like-minded companies and are excited to welcome the community to our new location.”

Director of Operations, Christian Jenkins said “We are delighted that iotec have chosen Plymouth Science Park as their location.  As the region’s principal centre for hi-growth technology firms, iotec will be in good company with like-minded businesses benefiting from the advanced ICT infrastructure, inspirational working environment and space to grow.”

Plymouth is staking a claim to be the region’s economic powerhouse thanks to unprecedented development and soaring growth rates with large-scale regeneration projects and business site expansions transforming the cityscape. Part of that growth engine, Plymouth Science Park is one of the leading Science Parks in the UK and currently houses 90 businesses employing 900 people; average growth for businesses in their first year on the Science Park hovers above 30%.
