Falmouth-based digital marketing agency, Peaky Digital, is partnering with Go Beyond as its charity of the year.

Peaky Digital will be supporting the Buckfastleigh-based children’s charity by providing a day’s worth of digital marketing services each month. The agency will be supporting with a range of services including Social Media, SEO and Google Ads.

Go beyond provides Residential and Day Breaks for children ages 8 – 15 years at centres nestled in the countryside in Cornwall, Devon, and Derbyshire, reaching hundreds of children and young people every year. Referrals are made by teachers, social workers or care professionals who identify children living in difficult or seriously challenging circumstances that would benefit most from a Go Beyond Break. At Go Beyond we believe that all children should be able to thrive whatever their home circumstances. No child should be defined by inequality, tragedy, or instability.

The charity, formerly known as CHICKS, rebranded last year to capture the sentiment of their mission helping young people go beyond anything that stands between them and their brightest future – and part of Peaky Digital’s work will be to help raise awareness in the local community of this new name and its association.

Peaky Digital MD Natalie Crouch said: “Covid continues to have a lasting impact on the wellbeing of families and young children, which is why the work that the Go Beyond team do is invaluable now more than ever. Our team were really touched by their mission – to give deserving children breaks that last a lifetime – and, with locations in Cornwall and the Midlands just like our own business, we felt this was the perfect connection to our local communities.

“We’re excited to help Go Beyond deliver their message and make a difference.”

Katy Finnimore, Senior Corporate Fundraiser at Go Beyond, said: “Here at Go Beyond, we are passionate about providing unforgettable breaks under open skies to children living in difficult or seriously challenging circumstances. In addition, we are reacting to the covid pandemic as children’s mental health has reached tipping point - 190,271 0–18-year-olds were referred to children and young people’s mental health services between April & June 2021, up 134% on the same period in 2020, and 96% on 2019. Now more than ever, we need your help to support the children and young people and the ‘children of the pandemic’ by giving them memories that last a lifetime.

“We are extremely grateful to Peaky Digital for choosing us as their selected charity of the year, helping us to deliver our message and support those that need us.”
