In time for National Lingerie Day, Curvy Kate, the trailblazing lingerie brand renowned for its dedication to diversity and inclusion, is thrilled to unveil Ellie Manning from Crediton, Exeteras one of their Top 5 winners for its 'Stars in Bras: Uplift Your Life' campaign. Departing from the traditional focus of serving the male gaze and hiring supermodels with unattainable bodies, Curvy Kate celebrates their latest launch with the beauty and diversity of women of all shapes and sizes. Ellie, a 31 year old Brand Coach, and new mum, took part in this pivotal campaign that has captured the hearts and minds of women nationwide, celebrating the beauty of all bodies and reaffirming Curvy Kate's commitment to empowerment and body positivity.

Ellie, a radiant finalist in Curvy Kate's 'Stars in Bras' campaign, brings a poignant and empowering perspective shaped by her recent journey into motherhood. With the joyous arrival of her first child, Ellie found herself marvelling at the incredible feats her body had accomplished throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding. Motivated by a desire to celebrate the beauty and resilience of her postpartum figure, Ellie eagerly seized the opportunity to participate in the competition. For Ellie, being part of the campaign is more than just modelling lingerie—it's a heartfelt tribute to the strength, nurturing, and boundless love her body has provided for both herself and her little boy.

The ‘Stars in Bras’ campaign gained an overwhelming response with over 1000 applications, and from these, the team at Curvy Kate selected Ellie as one of the final 5 models. This meant they all got to take part in a finalist photoshoot with the brand, a transformative experience that left a lasting impression on Ellie. The day celebrated her personal journey and ever-growing confidence. 

Here's what Ellie had to say: “It’s been a wild ride. As a new mum I want to represent all the little girls on our play-dates with the approach that everybody is worthy, I wanted to show the everyday body.”
